In September, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts will celebrate its 25th year of operation in Eugene.
Leading up to its anniversary, the Hult Center is offering a series of five free events, and the first two of the events take place this weekend.
This Saturday, all-female band Complicated will perform a free concert at the Hult Center Plaza. The band consists of five women whose ages span three decades, and their musical influences are many and varied. The event is free, and tickets are not required.
This Sunday, the Hult’s Silva Concert Hall plays host to the 21-member Hanan Province Performing Arts Ensemble. The group will perform a program of four traditional Chinese arts: Kung Fu, Tai Chi, traditional music and Peking Opera.
The event is free, but ticket vouchers are required. Vouchers are available at all Bi-Mart stores.
