The 11th IAAF World Track and Field Championships begin Saturday in Osaka, Japan and Versus (Comcast Channel 32 in the Eugene area) and WCSN.com will have daily coverage through the end of the event Sept. 2. WCSN.com requires a membership.
NBC will also have daytime coverage Sunday and Sept. 1 and 2.
The 16-hour time difference between Osaka and Eugene means that WCSN.com’s live coverage begins at 3:30 a.m. most mornings and Versus has some early morning coverage, too. The morning sessions in Japan begin at 6 p.m. in Eugene though.
Oregon junior Galen Rupp will be running the men’s 10,000m final Aug. 27 at 5:40 a.m.
