The No. 16 Oregon Ducks shook off a heartbreaking 84-82 loss Thursday to USC by handing No. 1 UCLA its first loss of the season Saturday in front of 9,087 at McArthur Court.
Aaron Brooks, after scoring 31 against the Trojans, scored a game-high 25 points including the go-ahead baseline jumper with 13 seconds remaining.
The Ducks led 40-30 at halftime and for the majority of the game, but UCLA tied the game at 66 on a three-pointer with 20 seconds remaining before Brooks’ shot.
