Bradbury to visit University for voter registration drive
Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury will be at the EMU Amphitheater at 12:30 p.m. today to kick off ASUO’s voter registration campaign called “A voteless duck is a hopeless duck.”
Bradbury will also speak on the Help America Vote Act of 2002, which includes a provision allocating funds to states to replace punch card voting systems, assisting with the administration of certain federal election laws and programs and establishing minimum election administration standards for states and units of local government.
“Having Bradbury (on campus) really legitimizes why students need to vote and how important their voice is,” ASUO Legislative Associate Gabe Kjos said.
