The USA election day is almost upon us. The entire nation is in a frenzy, looking forward to the 5th of November, the day when the future in the next four years in the suitor of the United States of America will be decided. Every vote counts, but some more than others. Running for office in the US is like entering a beauty pageant or a reality show. You need not only voters but supporters and, most of all, endorsements.
It is not all about gala nights and fundraising. No, you need people of notice to step up and speak for you. This election year was no different, and many celebrities decided to have their voice heard. Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump gathered plenty of support. It will be a fun day in November at voting locations but also for all of us engaging in this years US president elections betting. Putting the imminent future aside, today, we’re going to talk about the biggest names that gave their voice to both Republican and Democratic candidates.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnold is not only a celebrity; he’s also a former politician. The Austrian-born bodybuilder turned actor served a term as a governor of California. He is a Republican and a billionaire. While many of you would have thought that he has more in common with Donald Trump than with Kamala Harris, the reality is a bit different. While Schwarzenegger is not satisfied with today’s political landscape in America and made critiques toward both Republicans and Democrats, he decided to publicly support Kamala Harris.
Buzz Aldrin
While it’s been a while since men walked on the Moon, Buzz Aldrin’s name still rings a bell in most of our ears. The former astronaut, better known as the second man to walk on the moon, supported Donald Trump. The main reason for his decision is that Donald Trump created the Space Force, a military branch focused on American interests in space, during his last term in office.
Brett Farve
The former Green Bay Packers Quarterback is a well-known name in Wisconsin. Being a swing state, Wisconsin is important to both candidates. Favre is known for supporting Trump and all Republicans, and he decided to speak for the billionaire candidate. While currently embroiled in a $77 million welfare scandal in the state of Mississippi, he remains a legend in Wisconsin, and Trump believes that Brett’s support could swing enough voters to move the entire state.
Barbara Pierce Bush
While not a celebrity per se, Barbara Pierce Bush is a well-known name because she is the offspring of former presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush. She even campaigned for Kamala Harris in the state of Pennsylvania. She supports Kamala Harris because she believes the Democratic candidate can move America forward and make big strides in protecting women’s rights.
Barack Obama
As a former president, Barack Obama still enjoys considerable popularity in political circles and among voters. Considering how high-end politics developed after his reign in America, he is now more revered than ever. Obama decided to support Harris and even campaigned for her. His most notable appearance was in Detroit, where he appeared next to the rapper Eminem and even quoted his big hit, Lose Yourself.
Nick Bosa
The 2024 election could be the biggest one in recent American history. Celebrities all over the place are stepping out and allowing their voices to be heard. One of those is San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa, who decided to endorse Donald Trump. After one of the 49ers’ games, he appeared in one of Trump’s popular MAGA shirts and stated that it is important for everyone to go out and vote.
Taylor Swift
Swift is one of the most popular music acts in the States and her voice is behind Kamala Harris. Taylor is known for having massive audiences at her concerts, and loyal followers called Swifties. With her stepping out and supporting Kamala Harris, we can expect the Democrat candidate to have plenty of young and first-time voters on her side. Swift is not the only musician standing behind the Democratic candidate. Musicians seem to love Kamala Harris, and so far, she has been endorsed by Ricky Martin, Eminem, Cher, Stevie Nicks, James Taylor, Lizzo, Usher, John Legend, and Billie Eilish, among plenty of others.
