I was born in Mexico Veracruz but I have lived in Salem OR since I was 11.
Dream Job?
My dream job will be to travel all over the world and be able to learn different cultures.
Why are you attending UO?
I attended the UO because I wanted to challenge myself academically and professionally. Also because the great food from our dining venues.
How/why do you want to change the world?
I will like to improve the standard of living of Latinos in the US and help youth in Mexico attend College. The reason is because as an undocumented immigrant I had and have many obstacles, and I would not be where I am if it wasn’t for all the support I have received from this community, I want to make sure others have opportunities to be successful.
What has been the best part of your college experience?
Joining Phi Gamma Delta and the Wayne Morse Scholars.
What are you proud to have been involved with at UO?
Working with the summer orientation staff and the Ambassador Program!
What are some of your goals after college?
I will like to attend Law School or Graduate school here in the US or in another country.
Who’s your biggest role model/influencer?
My parents. Watching their sacrifices they made for me and my siblings always show me to never give up and to always help others. They have inspired to become the best I can.
