The Oregon sand volleyball team wrapped up its season Friday in Boise with losses to Boise St. and No. 10 Arizona.
Oregon finished the season 2-6 in its second year involved with the sport.
The Ducks’ lone victory of the day came against the Broncos when the No. 4 team of Frankie Shebby and Natalie Bookout Gonzalez bested their BSU opponents 21-17, 22-20, picking up their sixth consecutive win of the season.
Oregon ended up losing to Boise St. 4-1. The Ducks’ duo of Taylor Agost and Serena Warner forced a third set against their Boise St. opponents, but the Broncos took the third set, 15-12.
The Ducks couldn’t find the win column against No. 10-ranked Arizona, dropping the match 5-0. Shebby/Bookout Gonzalez forced a third set against the Wildcats, looking to complete an undefeated season, but fell 15-4 in their final action of the season.
