Last night, Eastern Washington transfer Vernon Adams Jr. took to Instagram to express his frustration about how much attention he was receiving on the results of one last math test. To clarify: Adams needed to pass Thursday’s exam to complete his graduation and receive admittance into the University of Oregon.
Now, they can finally be put to rest. Adams, who originally planned on participating in summer workouts back in June, will now be able to join the team four days late after passing the exam.

Mark Helfrich and the Oregon coaching staff will now need to figure out whether veteran back up Jeff Lockie or Adams will get the nod for their season opener against Eastern Washington on September 5.
