Oregon women’s basketball ended its 2011-12 regular season with a 65-47 road loss to Utah on Saturday afternoon. Senior forward Amanda Johnson led the team with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Jasmin Holliday added 10 points.
Utah was led by sophomore forward Michelle Plouffe, who had 21 points, 10 boards, three assists and four blocks on the night. Oregon will now prepare to play in the Pacific Life Pac-12 Tournament at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Ducks, seeded No. 9 in the tournament, will take on No. 8 Washington (8-10, 16-12) at noon on March 7th.
