A woman was running on a bike path at Alton Baker Park Monday evening around 5:45 p.m., when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her and picked her up, according to a press release from the Eugene Police Department. The suspect then left the area and the victim flagged down help.
The suspect is described as a six-foot-five Hispanic male, in his 30s, around 160 lbs. He had short brown hair, a medium build and a mustache.
He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, blue long sleeved fleece with a white shirt and jeans. Witnesses reported seeing him leaving the park in a light green Volkswagen sedan.
