The Ducks’ final three-round tally of 1109 (29-over par) easily bested No. 1 Texas and No. 15 Texas A&M, which tied for second with final scores of 1120 (40-over par). No. 28 Oklahoma and No. 30 Oklahoma State rounded out the top five, while the tournament’s other two Pac-12 teams, Oregon State and Utah, came in at eighth and tenth place respectively.
Individually, Daniel Miernicki fell just short of the individual title as New Mexico’s Victor Perez shot a 3-under 69 in the final round to finish four strokes ahead of Oregon’s senior. Miernicki was forced to settle for second place with a composite score of 1-over 217, while fellow senior Eugene Wong followed in a tie for third and junior Robbie Ziegler came in with a fifth-place finish. Senior Andrew Vijarro and freshman Ben Itterman tied for 20th overall with scores of 12-over 228. @@http://www.golfstatresults.com//public/leaderboards/player/static/player2798.html@@
