Seattle:
December 31 — Beats Antique – Paramount Theatre
If you’re looking for a New Year’s party filled with gypsy dub, wild dancing and some eerie bohemian electronica, Seattle should be in the crosshairs for your New Year plans. Tickets are $40 and if you’re feeling important, VIP is available for $150. The entire event is 21+, so plan accordingly.
December 31 — Resolution 2013 – WaMu Theater
United State of Consciousness is bringing you a night filled with uplifting trance and ear drum-destroying dubstep. Cosmic Gate, Dieselboy, Doctor P, FuntCase, Mord Fustang, Rusko and W&W round up the initial lineup announcement with more artists yet to be announced. December 31 — Bass Odyssey NYE 2013 – Oregon Convention Center
Nero, Kill The Noise and Paper Diamond are headlining Portland’s high-energy, bass-fueled New Year’s celebration. More artists are to be announced as the event draws nearer. Tickets are going for $41 with VIP tickets also available.
December 31 — An evening with Railroad Earth – Crystal Ballroom
McMenamins is playing host to a New Year’s Eve of true Americana. So if you’re looking to escape the onslaught of bass frenzy this New Year, head over to the Crystal Ballroom for a night of guitar riffs and straight-ahead, blue-collar rock ‘n’ roll.
Eugene:
December 31 — Ninkasi presents An Evening with the Floydian Slips – McDonald Theatre
Ninkasi Brewing Company, Eugene Weekly, and KZEL are throwing a New Year’s Eve bash right here in Eugene. So if you’re staying local for the holiday break, don’t feel like you’re missing out — Eugene has you covered.
South Lake Tahoe:
December 29-31 — SnowGlobe Music Festival – Lake Tahoe Community College
The second installment of Lake Tahoe’s SnowGlobe Music Festival brings fans back to the snow for three nights of winter fun, featuring performances from Deadmau5, Chromeo, Wiz Khalifa, Beats Antique, Gramatik and many more. With Sierra Nevada Brewing as a sponsor, expect great beer on tap as well. Think summer music festivals in the middle of a Lake Tahoe winter — it doesn’t get much better than that. Three-day passes to the festival are $155, with VIP tickets available for $450.
