Human rights and restorative justice activist Sister Helen Prejean will be coming to Eugene and holding events for students and community members on October 21-27, according to an Oregon Law press release. Part of a longer visit to Oregon, she plans to speak in Robert D. Clark Honors College classes and with students who are a part of the law school’s Conflict and Dispute Resolution graduate program.
Her main campus event will be an “Envisioning a Compassionate America” lecture at 7 p.m., Oct. 25 in the EMU Ballroom.
