The No. 44 Oregon women’s golf team took home second-place in the NCAA West Regional Preview in Lincoln, Calif. at the 72-par Lincoln Hills Golf Course yesterday.
The Ducks finished by shooting 308 in the third and final round and ended the preview with a score of 900, while first-place Denver shot 876. Third-place Fresno State finished four strokes behind Oregon.
Junior Cathryn Bristow finished second in the individual standings. She finished with a score of 217 (75-70-72) after shooting par in her final round. It was her seventh score of par or better this season.
Other Ducks finishing in the top 25 were sophomore Felicia Eastick (T-21st, 73-74-78-225) and freshman Kendra Little (T-24th, 76-71-79-226).
Oregon will head to the Midwest for their next competition in the regular season in the Indiana Individual Invitational at Crooked Stick Golf Course in Indianapolis on April 7-8.
