Podcast: Meet the Emerald’s new Editor-in-Chief


Join Associate Sports Editor Shawn Medow and Podcast Editor Alec Cowan as they review a hectic and surprising Premier League football season. Shawn’s Manchester United finish second in the table and Alec’s Liverpool make it into the the top four, with Chelsea making a surprising drop. The two also discuss the Champions League final matchup between Liverpool and Real Madrid, with a closing discussion on World Cup roster shake ups.

Cascades Raptor Center trainer Carrie Lorenz brings Taka, a Swainson’s Hawk, out of their enclosure. Taka was taken into human care as an adult at UC Davis’s Veterinary School’s Raptor Center back in 2001. Taka came to the Cascades Raptor Center in April of 2003, joining their ambassador team.
