Oregon Ducks football continues to struggle on the road, losing its third straight away game after falling 32-25 to the Utah Utes on Saturday. The Ducks drop to 6-4 on the season.
Both the men’s and women’s teams for Oregon cross-country are headed to the NCAA championships in Madison, Wisconsin, next week after their performances at the NCAA West Regional in Sacramento, California on Saturday. The women’s team, ranked second coming in to the meet, took first place with three runners placing in the top-10.
Oregon volleyball swept the Cal Bears on Saturday night in the Bay Area, led by the efforts of Lindsey Vander Weide who had 16 kills and 13 digs in the game. But the Ducks fell on Thursday to No. 2 Stanford 3-1.
Clutch 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter by Sabrina Ionescu and Erin Boley helped No. 3 Oregon women’s basketball to a victory against No. 18 Syracuse in their home opener on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman phenom Bol Bol continued to rule the paint for No. 14 Oregon men’s basketball on Friday night, racking up 23 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in the Ducks’ dominant 81-47 victory over Eastern Washington.
