Oregon track and field announced two male signees and one female signee to join the Ducks’ class of 2011.
Sprinter Arthur Delaney from Portland (Barlow High School) and hurdler Johnathan Cabral of Agoura, Calif., will join the Oregon next season. Delaney is the Oregon state champion at OSAA Class 6A in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes, while Cabral is a California state champion in the 110-meter hurdles (wind-aided 13.54). Cabral’s 2010 time of 13.58 (wind-legal) was second in the nation.
Ogden, Utah, native Lauren Crockett will join the women’s high jumpers. A two-time state champion, Crockett won the USA Track and Field Junior Olympics in the high jump in 2010.
