Here are some photos from the 2011 Oregon Country Fair, which attracted thousands of people. Some came dressed in costumes and wore face paint , while others wore next to nothing. Vendors, drum circles, and musical performances kept the crowds entertained.

Oregon volleyball setter August Raskie shines both on and off the court for her athletic prowess and her artistic sense of creativity that makes her who she is. According to Raskie’s 2017 teammate, Maggie Scott, “August is a super athletic player… As a person, she is a really unique character. Cascades Raptor Center trainer Carrie Lorenz brings Taka, a Swainson’s Hawk, out of their enclosure. Taka was taken into human care as an adult at UC Davis’s Veterinary School’s Raptor Center back in 2001. Taka came to the Cascades Raptor Center in April of 2003, joining their ambassador team.
