The Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) Student Leadership Retreat wrapped up its final day in the EMU ballroom. The program’s main focus is to give it’s students, comprised of 7th-9th grade students from the surrounding Eugene area, the skill set they’ll need to succeed in a higher education setting and life. As the camp came to a close, the students seemed to have bonded over the experience and were eager to tackle the new challenges that lay ahead. Here are a few frames from the day:
