The Ducks have officially begun Rose Bowl preparations, and with that also comes media availability! Though we at the Emerald are home for the holidays, the intrepid reporters at The Register-Guard and The Oregonian remain hard at work. On this Monday afternoon, here’s some of the latest from the Ducks:
– Rob Moseley writes that deception will be key for the Oregon defense as it faces one of the nation’s best offenses. On a related note, here’s the Sports Illustrated story he refers to about Wisconsin’s offensive line.
– Also from Moseley, a Q&A with linebacker Michael Clay — with questions submitted by fans.
– ESPN’s Ted Miller has a look at the Pac-12’s Heisman contenders for next season. LaMichael James and De’Anthony Thomas are included. Irrational fans wonder: “WHY ISN’T BRYAN BENNETT ON THE LIST?????”
– In case you missed it, check out this great piece on Oregon strength and conditioning coach Jim Radcliffe by Andrew Grief, a sports copy editor at The Register-Guard and an Emerald alum!
