We at the Emerald are officially on a break from the day-to-day publishing schedule (make sure to check out our early bowl preview in newsstands today, or here), but that doesn’t mean we won’t be giving you updates on the Ducks as they prepare for the Rose Bowl. Though players have the week off due to finals, and media availability is also shut down for the time being, there’s always something going on (Cliff Harris made sure of that this week, at least). Here’s the latest from today:
– Ken Goe at The Oregonian writes about how Chip Kelly could one day migrate to the NFL, the theory being that if Tim Tebow can find success, why can’t Kelly and another athletic quarterback (like, say, Robert Griffin III or Russell Wilson)?
– The Oregonian also writes about how President Richard Lariviere’s firing impacts school donations.
– ESPN’s Ted Miller recaps Oregon’s season this year. LaMichael James and Dion Jordan named MVPs of their respective units.
– Uh oh, LeGarrette Blount.
– Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Arizona State apparently has a new coach.
