Going through the archives, this photo from Stanford struck me as a really interesting up-close look at Oregon’s bread and butter: the zone-read. You can see Darron Thomas’ eyes focused on the handoff, while LaMichael James is already reading the field, looking for a hole. The fact that it turned into a touchdown only makes the picture that much cooler.
