Well, another week has gone by, and the life of a
columnist is full and flavorful.
I’ve been doing a lot of searching for
internships — that in itself is a job. Sending out clips
and resumes and hoping you’ve sold yourself just right
to be picked for an internship that will hopefully
take you where you want to be — or in this case take me.
Wouldn’t it be great if the first one I sent out said
they loved me and I had everything taken care
of? Probably, but I guess then, where is the excitement
in that? I have been offered an intenship, and they did
want to pay me but they needed to make sure it was in
their budget. If not, well then I continue my search.
The internship is in Missouri. I love Missouri.
Anyway nothing really solid or analytical is going on.
I guess it’s easier when you’re a reporter to write
about the whos and whats of the day.
But for now, this will have to do.
I’m sure my blogs will get more exciting as the ideas
flow more.
