Hi, I'm a photographer and UO student, currently enrolled in the UOTeach program. I was introduced to journalism in high school, and have since expanded on that knowledge and skill that I hope to pass on to students some day!

I typically use Canon gear, my favorite things to photograph are portraits and fast-paced news events, and my favorite lens is my 70-200mm f/2.8. You can find more of my work on my website, hernandez-photo.com.

The Eugene City Council listens to comments provided by community members at the Nov. 27 city council meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, Eugene mayor Lucy Vinis and Ward 8 representative Randy Groves voiced their support for a resolution calling for a ceasefire. "A resolution from this council can be a powerful reassertion of values that this council has expressed in earlier resolutions in support of peace and in opposition to hate," Vinis said.
