Opinion Columnists provide well-informed perspectives on local issues affecting the UO community, often prompting debate and encouraging readers to consider something from a different point of view. They thoroughly research their topics, stay on top of local issues and aren’t afraid to disagree with the status quo. Columns should be truthful and written in an authoritative manner.
