Prissila Moreno has been elected as the Associated Students of the University of Oregon president for the 2025-2026 academic year with Jordan Ackemann as vice president, both representing the UO Student Power slate.
During the election, Moreno and Ackemann ran against Taliek Lopez-DuBoff, who was running for president, and Madisen Kunker, who was running for vice-president. Lopez-DuBoff and Kunker represented the Unite UO slate.
In the first round of results, Moreno and Ackemann won with 53.4% of the vote — representing 1,234 students’ choice for the Executive Branch. Meanwhile, Lopez-DuBoff and Klunker lost with 46.6% of the vote – or 1,079 total votes.
The 2025 spring election saw higher turnout from previous ASUO elections, with 2,492 students casting a ballot. This year’s special elections saw 97 votes, and the 2024 spring election captured roughly 1,200 votes.
UO Student Power largely swept the vote in the Senate and Finance Committee races, winning 18 out of 24 races.
