Alysia Kezerian has been upgraded from critical to serious condition after a fall at Smith Rock State Park last weekend, Lisa Goodman, a spokesperson for St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, confirmed after a Register-Guard report Thursday afternoon.
The 21-year-old University of Oregon student was listed in critical condition after attempting to hike the Misery Ridge Trail on Sunday. After veering from the path, she fell 20 to 30 feet on a steep section of rock, officials said.
A native of Danville, Calif., Kezerian is an undergraduate business major at the UO and president of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
