– Track and field standout Jenna Prandini won the Bowerman Trophy this Thursday. Edward Cheserek and Prandini were Oregon’s finalists for the trophy this year.
– DeForest Buckner, Royce Freeman and Tyler Johnstone all earned second-team all-America honors from the Football Writers’ Association of America. Aidan Schneider wrapped up the list of honors as a third-team selection by The Associated Press.
– Women’s basketball improved to 10-0 when it scored 122 points on Portland State at home Thursday night. The Ducks took down UC Riverside on Tuesday.
– Men’s basketball returns to the court Friday at Matthew Knight Arena to take on Long Beach State. In Oregon’s last game on Tuesday, the Ducks beat UC Irvine, 78-63.
– Former Oregon Ducks Dennis Dixon, LaMichael James, Darron Thomas and others will be coaching 7-on-7 football this season. EForce Football begins this weekend; the team hopes to once again make the final four.
