Blue Dog Mead gives each product a color to represent it (similar to Johnnie Walker’s Black and Red labels@@http://static3.wine-searcher.net/images/labels/21/97/johnnie-walker-red-label-blended-scotch-whisky-scotland-10152197.jpg@@). The company’s current wine-like mead product will now be called “Blue Collar,” and the newest label will be “Green Collar.”
Green Collar is an apple-vanilla mead, comparable to a hard cider or a lighter beer. It is 6.9 percent alcohol by volume and is gluten-free.
