Oregon men’s basketball concluded its exhibition schedule with a win over Southwestern Oklahoma State on Monday night in a win that shocked few Duck fans. SWOSU, a member of the Great American Conference, got off to a hot start from behind the three-point arc, but Oregon battled back behind freshman point guard Dominic Artis@@http://www.uoregon.edu/findpeople/person/dominic%2Aartis@@. The Ducks used a full team effort the rest of the way.

Barner’s honors stack up. Following the greatest performance by a running back in Oregon history, the Walter Camp foundation has named senior running back Kenjon Barner its national Player of the Week. The Riverside, Calif., native averaged 8.4 yards per carry on his way to 321 yards and five touchdowns in No. 3 Oregon’s 62-51 win over USC.
Unsurprisingly, Barner was also named the Pac-12 conference’s offensive player of the week. It’s his third conference honor in his four-year career.

While Oregon scored nine offensive touchdowns for the second consecutive week, Alabama took care of business on the road to then-No. 5 LSU. The Crimson Tide is also undefeated and fully expected to make a second-straight appearance in the national championship.
