Normally gone in minutes, the student allotment of tickets for Saturday’s football game against Arkansas State was not fully exhausted Sunday thanks to the indeterminate number unspoken for by freshmen students.
Looks like the Freshman have given a gift to their fellow students. They didn’t claim their tickets, so if u didn’t claim yours get it now.

According to Goducks.com, there were a total of 918 student tickets available for Saturday to be split evenly between each class, or 23% of the number allotted for games when classes are in session. ASUO Athletic Commissioner Katherine Du Pont couldn’t remember the last time football tickets weren’t claimed in the initial process – guessing the 2010 Arizona game over Thanksgiving weekend – but had an idea as to why there would still be tickets unspoken for.
“I personally feel that since no email or reminder was sent out stating that tickets were to be distributed this Sunday by the Athletic Department, that many students could have been unaware that distribution occurred,” Du Pont said in an email. “However, if students really want to go to games, they need to do some research and preparation on their part.”
Any unclaimed or returned tickets go into a general pool to be dolled out on a first-come basis Thursday evenings at 5. For additional information on the distribution process, visit the student ticket page on Goducks.com
Update: The ticket office appears to have sent out an email to students on Friday, but some didn’t receive it.
