University of Oregon sophomore sprinter English Gardner took seventh at the Olympic Trials in the 100 meters with a time of 11.28 seconds. Gardner recently took the 100 meters at the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, and while she didn’t qualify for the U.S. team in London, she says she’s pleased with just making it to the Trials as a sophomore.
