Chip Kelly demands one thing from his special teams: Be special. The unit had their ups and downs this year, with the highlight being De’Anthony Thomas’ punt return against Colorado, and the lowlight being continued poor-kicking performances. Often, defensive starters like Kiko Alonso, Michael Clay and Dion Jordan are called upon to provide their talents to special teams.
