Kevin Kowalik, the Oregon men’s tennis coach for the past two seasons, resigned Thursday citing personal reasons.
Oregon had a 14-31 record and only one Pacific-10 Conference victory in the past two years.
“I want to thank Bill Moos for giving me the opportunity to coach at Oregon,” he said in a University press release. “However, I have decided to step down from coaching here for personal reasons.”
Oregon women’s tennis coach Nils Schyllander will oversee the men’s program on an interim basis while a nationwide search for Kowalik’s replacement is underway.
