The administration bans Pacifica Forum from the EMU for the remainder of the academic year. Agree or not, it is heartening to see the tangible influence of student demonstrations on the high offices of the University.
EPD changes Taser policy
Eugene Police Department is changing its Taser policy. After two cases where a police officer abused his power and used the electric stun gun on University students, a change in policy or personnel was drastically needed.

NBC executives sabotaged Conan O’Brien by giving Jay Leno a primetime show that turned out to be a flop. But keep cool — even though he won’t be at NBC, the Associated Press reported O’Brien “wants to get back on the air”
