Oregon women’s golf finished second at the Bruin Wave Invite in San Luis Obispo, California, making it two top-five finishes through two tournaments of the spring season.
The Ducks beat out No. 17 Arizona State, No. 4 UCLA, No. 14 Northwestern and No. 28 Washington while No. 5 Stanford beat Oregon by four strokes following the three-round tournament.
Individually, seniors Petra Salko and Kathleen Scavo had top-10 finishes with Salko shooting 5-over (221) for a second-place finish and Scavo going 9-over (225) for an eighth-place finish. Scavo held first place after the first two rounds but shot 9-over on the final round.
Freshman Tze-Han Lin tied for 18th with a 12-over (228) tournament.
The Ducks have more than a month off before they head to Phoenix, Arizona, for the Ping/ASU Inviational from March 29-31.
