The Ducks didn’t play this weekend, but ten other Pac-12 teams did. If you missed anything, we’ve rounded up all of the important news (scores, statistics, Arizona and USC collectively deciding not to play defense against each other).
USC 48, Arizona 41: First LaMichael James set a school rushing record against the Wildcats. Then, in the very next week, USC quarterback Matt Barkley threw for a school record 468 yards and four touchdowns. Honestly, I’m worried about Mike Stoops’ sanity at this point.
Washington State 31, Colorado 27: The Cougars earned their first ever Pac-12 win in a game that approximately 29 people watched/knew existed.
Washington 31, Utah 14: It might be time to start taking Washington seriously. The Huskies are 4-1 now, and 2-0 in the Pac-12. Utah quarterback Jordan Wynn sat out the second half with an injury to his left shoulder, but that shouldn’t take anything away from Washington’s impressive victory on the road.
Arizona State 35, Oregon State 20: It was a little closer than anticipated, but Arizona State managed to keep the Beavers winless through four games. James Rodgers returned to the field, but even he might not be able to stop Oregon State’s violent tailspin this season.
No. 6 Stanford 45, UCLA 19: A quiet day for Andrew Luck, really. Just 227 passing yards, three touchdown throws, and one eye-popping one-handed catch that most receivers couldn’t dream of making. At this point, it’s almost annoying how good he is.
