Students from kindergarten through eighth grade will unveil their inventions and engage in science experiments this Saturday at the University of Oregon’s 5th Annual Science and Invention Fair.
The fair, which takes place in Willamette Hall from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will have science activity tables, science workshops, a physics demo show, project judging and an awards ceremony. The goal of the fair is to get young students involved in science at an early age.
The Science Program to Inspire Creativity and Excellence (SPICE) will be working in tandem with school teachers from Eugene to facilitate the event. The fair is free to the public and family friendly. For more information go to SPICE’s website.
