The No. 18 Oregon baseball team spent its first eight games of the 2012 season on the road, and was supposed to return home last night to a rousing ovation after a 7-1 start. Instead, the Ducks will have to wait until Friday for their home opener, as Tuesday’s game against Portland was cancelled due to inclement weather.
The Portland game was rescheduled for May 23 at PK Park. Oregon’s next scheduled game is against Long Beach State on Friday at 6 p.m.
