The EMU will be open until 3 a.m. during the last few weeks of the term.
During Dead Week the building will be open late starting Monday, Nov. 26 until Thursday, Nov. 29. During Finals Week the building will be open from Sunday, Dec. 2 until Tuesday, Dec. 4.
“As a senior, I’ve seen the Knight Library fill up every year,” ASUO Academic Director Harlan Mechling said. “The hope is that by opening the EMU, we will facilitate a healthy environment to study. People who can’t study in the dorms, the library or at home will now have more options around campus.”
In addition to the late hours, there will be free pizza starting on Wednesday of Dead Week with a serving location that is to be determined.
