Eugene police continued its patrol of the West and South University neighborhoods as well as downtown Friday night from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. in an attempt to decrease alcohol- and party-related problems.
Officers responded to an unruly party with more than 100 people in the house and in the street, according to police. The residents of the house held a party in September and were warned by Eugene police to act responsibly.
One resident was arrested Friday night on open container and interfering with police charges. Two were arrested on charges for prohibited noise. They were lodged in the Lane County Jail on charges for prohibited noise. They were also cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor at the party.
