Electoral law changes results in Kuwaiti protest
Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Kuwait City to protest a change in the electoral law despite facing police armed with teargas, stun grenades and baton charges, according to Al Jazeera.
The protesters have called the potential change a “constitutional coup” by the government and called for a boycott of the poll that would follow the dismantling of parliament that was elected earlier this year.
Woman claims she was raised by apes

Fidel Castro just fine
After a Venezuelan doctor reported that Fidel Castro was barely functional after a stroke, Castro made an appearance to disprove the reports.
The appearance came in the form of a meeting with a politician which he had his son take pictures of in order to prove he was in good health and to criticized Western media, accusing it of decades of misleading press, according to Newser.
Lance Armstrong stripped of his titles
Lance Armstrong’s seven Tour de France titles have been stripped and vacated by the International Cycling Union. The organization made the announcement Monday and added that it would not appeal the sanctions imposed upon Armstrong by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, according to USA Today.
“Riders who were caught doping continue to do the sport a disservice by protesting that the UCI refused to engage with them. The reality is that these riders never contemplated such action until they were found positive by the UCI and even then they refused to confess and co-operate with the UCI,” a UCI press release said.
