The westbound turn-lane from Franklin Boulevard onto Agate Street is closing permanently as part of construction of Lane Transit District’s new EmX bus rapid transit system.
The main westbound entrance into the
University will be at Moss Street. Previous lane closures have included the westbound left-turn lane onto Onyx Street from Franklin Boulevard.
The left-turn lanes are being converted into lanes for through traffic in order to accommodate EmX, which will have stations on Franklin Boulevard at Walnut Street, Agate Street and at East 11th Avenue.
