Briefly explain your platform.
True Blue; being more accessible to students. Making everyone feel like ASUO is something they could have a say in and be a part of.
What qualities and experience qualify you to be an ASUO senator?
In high school I was a state officer for DECA. I attended a lot of leadership seminars across America.
What are your thoughts on the purpose and size of the student incidental fee?
I believe the fee should be something that gives students services that they could use and that are valuable to them. If the fee needs to be increased in any way to meet that, that’s acceptable. However, I don’t think we need to increase the fee unless there’s a need for it.
How will you ensure that you are representing your constituents’ interests?
The biggest way that I could do it is just being involved in the College of Education. Talking to students and encouraging them to get into ASUO.
What are some major issues facing education majors and how would you address them?
Generally, textbook prices and the price of college is a big issue. That’s obviously a problem for education majors.
