The Oregon men’s track and field team slipped to second place in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll released Wednesday while the women stayed stable in second.
The Florida men’s team jumped from fifth to first, marking the first week the Ducks haven’t been ranked in the top spot during the outdoor season. Behind Oregon, Texas A&M was No. 3, Arizona State No. 4 and Florida State No. 5. ASU jumped nine spots to place inside the top five.
The women’s team is second to Texas A&M for the fourth straight week, with LSU, Arizona State and Florida State following them in the top five.
