No.36 Oregon men’s tennis made its third sweep in a row Wednesday with a 4-0 sweep of No. 66 Pacific.
The Ducks are now 16-4 on the season and 2-2 in Pac-12 play.
Pacific picked up the first win of doubles play, but Oregon struck back when the doubles team of Cormac Clissold and Thomas Laurent won 7-5. The Ducks took the first point of the match on a victory from No.31 Jayson Amos and Armando Soemarno.
It was Clisshold who also brought in the first singles point of the day. On No.5, Clisshold made quick work of the match, snatching his 6-1, 6-2 win with ease.
Ethan Young-Smith followed up that win with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep to put Oregon ahead 3-0. Thomas Laurent also earned the Ducks their final point of the day for the 4-0 sweep of Pacific.
Oregon is taking on No. 42 Stanford next for its next conference match on Friday, April 8.
