The Oregon men’s club rugby team was recognized nationally this week after RugbyMag.com ranked them No. 25 in their College Division 1 rankings.
This is the first time that Oregon (7-0-1) has been ranked this season, as the Ducks have been enjoying perhaps their most successful season in club history. The Ducks are coming off a 43-20 victory over Idaho last weekend.
“For the entire club, for our alumni, for the students, friends and family of this team, it is wonderful to have this recognition,” assistant coach Stu Brush said. “But what is even more exciting is the fact that we can grow as a club and that there is so much more potential in the guys.”
The top five remained the same from last week, even though No. 5 Arkansas State lost to Life University 34-7.
Davenport made the biggest jump this week, rising from No. 21 to No. 14 after defeating previous No. 14 team Clemson 46-0.
Oregon was joined in the top 25 by fellow Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference team Central Washington, who moved up one spot to No. 8 after beating Eastern Washington 57-0.
The entire top 25 rankings can be seen here.

2. Cal
3. BYU
4. Life
5. Arkansas State
