The Oregon acrobatics and tumbling team hosted their second meet of the season Monday night as they took on the Quinnipiac Bobcats and the Azusa Pacific Cougars in a tri-meet at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks are coming off a 280.20-274.38 win over the Baylor Bears. The Ducks (3-0) got off to a slow start to the meet. Plus, strong performances by both Azusa Pacific (1-1) and Quinnipiac (2-1) led to tense competition. In the end, the Ducks came away with the victory, winning with a final score of 280.570 to Azusa Pacific’s score of 278.450 and Quinnipiac’s score of 270.180. Oregon is currently on a 22-meet win streak dating back to March 24, 2011 where it lost to No. 1 ranked Maryland. This is the first of two tri-meets for the Ducks.
Next, they take on Alderson-Broaddus and Hawaii Pacific Sunday, March 16 at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore.
