Following its 44-10 win over Colorado, Oregon remained at No. 2 in the latest edition of the College Football Playoff rankings. Elsewhere, Alabama (1), Florida State (3) and Mississippi St. (4) remained in its respective positions that would place them in the College Football Playoff had the season ended today.
UCLA moved up one spot to No. 8 after its convincing win over USC last Saturday. The Bruins hold their own fate as to whether they will play in the Pac-12 Championship game on Dec. 5 and a win over Stanford Friday will certify it.
Arizona came in ranked No. 11 and Arizona State sits just behind them at No. 13. The two will face off on Friday and the winner of the game could find itself in the position to go to the Pac-12 Championship game if the Bruins lose this week.
TCU was the first team out of the top four at No. 5, with Ohio State (6) and Baylor (7) sitting right behind them. Currently, five one-loss teams rank in the top ten of the poll.
