The University of Oregon enrollment is down by 1% since Fall 2013.
According to the Office of the Registrar statistical reports, the total undergraduate enrollment was 24,508 students in Fall 2013, compared to 24,188 in fall of this year. This marks the first time since Fall of 2011 that there has been a significant decrease in enrollment numbers.
The Office of Registrar said there is no specific reason for the fewer number of students this year, and that enrollment numbers always fluctuate from year to year. The Office of the Registrar is responsible for academic and classroom scheduling, student registration, enrollment verification, academic records maintenance, transfer credit articulation, degree audits, monitoring education requirements, course evaluations and student data/statistical analysis.
